Early Easter Sunday morning, a group of Stamford/Greenwich area clergy working with Opening Doors Fairfield County's Faith Leaders' Collaborative hosted a well-attended annual "Sonrise" service at Stamford's Cove Beach Park.
The work of Opening Doors Fairfield County was highlighted at the close of service and clergy members, together with ODFC Collaborative Coordinator Pastor Doran Wright, distributed Advocacy Fact Sheets to the departing crowd.

Lower Fairfield County that includes the Stamford area, is one of the most severely cost burdened housing markets in the entire nation. Area clergy are well attuned to the need and moral imperative to ensure services and interventions such as shelter, diversion, mental health, and youth engagement are fully funded and sustained.
